Standardised hazmat canisters and bins provide modular, sealed containment for internal waste handling across lunar infrastructure, built to ISO 11607, DOT-49 CFR, and ECSS-Q-ST-70 specifications. Fabricated from 316L stainless steel, polypropylene, and metal-foil seals, the passive 20-kilogram units comprise four canister and six bin configurations designed for automated handling by robotic cargo platforms. Long-term deployment in the lunar vacuum over a 50-year operational lifetime eliminates the use of degrading elastomeric gaskets, requiring all-metal hermetic seals and fill-stage leak verification to ensure hazardous materials remain securely isolated.
