Reclamation Pre-Filter

Multi-Stage Coarse + Activated-Carbon Pre-Filter for Reclaim Streams

The reclamation pre-filter is an unpowered, three-kilogram filtration unit housed in 316L stainless steel that treats habitat condensate and grey water prior to merging with the main purification chain. Utilizing a modular cartridge stack of pleated polypropylene and activated carbon, the assembly removes particulates down to 10 micrometers while adsorbing organics and odors that would otherwise foul downstream reverse-osmosis membranes. Integrated differential-pressure monitoring triggers cartridge replacement every six to twelve months, sustaining continuous water processing with an 80,000-hour mean time between failures before spent media is transferred to waste management.
