The system state reconstruction subsystem is a 2 kg, 1 W persistence unit that restores consistent operational parameters across 100 MB of critical memory following a fault event. Operating within the Lunar Ark architecture without the radiation shielding of a terrestrial magnetosphere, the unit must mitigate fault-inducing upsets across a 100-year mission lifetime. It utilizes triple-buffered MRAM persistent storage to execute voting on recovered states, processes authenticated state updates, and cross-checks data against the L1-DVT historical state archive, operating with a specified mean time between failures of 500,000 hours.
