Operating on 100 watts, the hardware achieves a composition accuracy of 0.5 percent with a 30,000-hour mean time between failures. Long-duration lunar deployment across its 15-year design life requires long-life spectroscopic excitation sources, machine-learning-augmented analysis, and routine calibration against physical reference samples to inspect incoming material lots and critical structural components.
