PILLAR The four pillars

BIOS

"The code that dreams itself into flesh."

All pillars

BIOS is the living archive — the complete genomic record of every species that ever walked, swam, crawled, or photosynthesised on Earth. Six point seven million species. Complete DNA sequences. Viable seeds suspended in cryogenic stasis at −196 °C. Embryonic material for mammals, birds, reptiles, and fish preserved using vitrification protocols that prevent ice-crystal formation at the cellular level.

A species is not truly extinct until its code is erased. BIOS ensures that code survives. If Earth's biosphere is catastrophically reduced, BIOS provides the genetic blueprint to reconstruct the web of life from first principles — from soil microbiota that enable nutrient cycling, to keystone predators that regulate ecosystems.

Storage utilises synthetic DNA in quartz glass substrates alongside traditional ultra-cold biobanks. The quartz medium is rated for one billion years of stable storage without degradation — orders of magnitude beyond any known extinction timeline.
