The scoreboard is a forecasting-validation system focused on CME arrival time and resulting geomagnetic storm strength, using indices such as Kp and Dst; for lunar operations, that means a CME can still matter even though the Moon lacks a global magnetic field, because energized particle environments and radio conditions can degrade assets and crew support systems.
The Ark team should track CME arrival windows, predicted Kp/Dst, and any upstream solar-wind modeling outputs; integrate storm-response triggers for power load shedding, comms hardening, radiation sheltering, and post-event anomaly checks across stored hardware and life-support interfaces.
